Very highly recommended. I can’t remember when I started liking rugby but I used to play touch rugby in school when I was just over 12 years old. Although this song was originally in English, I was very attracted to the Maori version for the RWC 2011 sung by Hayley Westenra. Honestly, I don’t know what is it with me and Maori songs. I just seem to love them even though I’m neither Kiwi nor Maori speaking. Doing this song on the stairs was … something special. My first YT video was a Maori song also and it was done on this very same spot. By the way, it was fantastic watching the RWC finals where All Blacks beat the French team 8-7. A fantastic match.
